In-game name: Palmer

Country: NY, USA
Have you ever been banned? If yes, why?: No
Have you read the rules and agree to follow them: Yes
What times are you most active?: 8pm -12am

Why do you want to be a moderator, And why should we make you one?:
I’ve always been helping people, no matter what game I play. I teach noobs on LoL how to work together, I introduce people to servers and teach them the ropes on GTA-SA servers, and I help new players build their houses on minecraft servers, helping is kind of my thing.
Also, I’m a BIG fan of Open TTD, and online communities, so I’m quite excited to offer you guys any and all assistance I can.

It's strange to see this has been sitting here for over a week, and other applications got accepted on the same day...

Hi Palmer,

We are very sorry, but we are currently lacking a bit of time

Thank you very much for your application, please note that IRC presence is VERY important for an moderator, so please hop into our IRC channel so we can talk a little better.

The IRC channel details are under the "Contact us" menu item.

Hope to see you there soon.

Best regards,

Frank
PS: Either talk to me or ST2, since I won't be much around at this moment! Thanks!

hello Palmer

1st of all, thank you for your application and I won't add much, because Frank said it all.
and by "all", the busy weeks (work, study or both) and how important we consider IRC channels presence. Details to connect are under Contact Us .

and you're right that we lacked on giving you that info, but was (and still is) our first reply:
That means we can proceed to next step: IRC presence is very important for admining matters too.
You can access our IRC channels in 2 ways:
1 - joining using browser client based (in Contact Us link, at top);
2 - use a dedicated IRC client (IRC server info it's on previous link too);

later, if you need help on set a dedicated IRC client, we can help you, but that's the start.
note: maybe some players applications are accepted on same day because they already been weeks (and even months) with regular IRC presence and being active there

Palmer, thank you for your application and hope see you on IRC to you see how major stuff works

hello Palmer

We've noticed that you were last days in our IRC channels, and that's a good point for you.

What is not good is the fact that we have only 1 registered game from you. And that's an important info to us too: how are you ingame (doesn't mean you must be the best, but must be fair and act in a way that helps other players too).

From this, I'll decline your application.

When you feel that have more time to be active, let us know

Palmer, your application wasn't declined... yet.

As Teuntjuh said on a reply here and as I said here ... we need something more!

Are you ready for it?

(last call for duty ^^)
