TOPIC: Server #31 - Cargo Goal changes

hello

Since our server #31 - Cargo server, is running now with random climates and lost multiple similar industries per town lately, we decided with this changes, to balance things:
- added Enhanced Trainset (Luukland_Trainset-2013.06.25.tar[lltrainset.grf]) to balance different climates available trains;
- Electric rails: disabled.

Since the "Enhanced Trainset" balances a bit, we dare to make starts between 1970 and 1990.

Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance

And as a test, in the next days, Enhanced Trainset NewGRF (Luukland_Trainset-2013.06.25.tar[lltrainset.grf]) will be introduced in our Desert servers. This trainset can be dowloaded via Online content download (Intro menu). Some locomotives are electric so, don't forget to electrify tracks to be able to use them.

Any suggestion is always welcome but I think this can improve desert gameplay, since trains pre-monorail are often overtaken by snails!!
Feel free to reply with what changes you'd like to see.
Thanks in advance and good games all

Thanks for the update ST2! But isn't that newGRF already installed on server #31? Or will it be deleted on the temperate scenarios?

yes, it's already on Server #31 (edit: and remove it not on the plans). I was too lazy to start a new topic so replied on this one xD

Anyway, waiting some replies about including the newgrf in desert servers

The train set is good.
But it looks like stations can only be 7 tiles long.
Could you extend it to 8, because of refitting to TGV / ICE ?

Could you add a vehicle set ?
For very short distances or small cargo output it's better to use trucks.

7 tiles or 8 tiles, it's exactly the same. Do you know the " Wagon removal " option?
