TOPIC: CityBuilder Changes 08/12/12

Good evening all!

After much time thinking and observing the CityBuilder games that you have all been playing, the following changes will be made.

Goal Size: 6,000 population
Starting Loan: 1,000,000 euros (increased from 400,000 euros)
Multiple Industries per Town/ City: OFF
Air: OFF
Station Spread: Reduced

Having only one industry type per town/ city will stop town destruction by banks and water towers and will reduce the effectiveness of lumbermills.

I hope you all enjoy the new settings, and give feedback after you've played several games. As this is an on-going process to make CityBuilder more interesting and challenging to play

I like the changes a lot! No planes makes it more competitive, 1 industry per town makes it more challenging!

I just think 6k goal is too much, for me personally i never have more time than 4k, most of the times i have to save the game to finnish it the next day.. too bad

Also waiting for the 6k goal is a hassle.. especially if the company who almost made it is abandoned or afk..

I think 4k goal will be alot quicker and more appealing for people who join a few years after the reset..
