TOPIC: Changes to Server 5 - Desert Long Goal

Good afternoon all!

After some time it's come to my attention that the desert landscapes have become a little boring, due to the difficult nature of making money compared to that of a temperate landscape. Hence the following changes have been made.

Start Year: Changed from 1975 to 2000
Start Loan: Increased from 400,000 euros to 600,000 euros
Town Growth: Now disabled
Starting Population of Cities: Increased by a factor of 2
Number of Cities: Reduced to 1 in 8

The following changes should provide a more enjoyable experience. No longer will the pain staking agony of growing a desert town/ city with food and water to increase its population.

On seed generation the highest city population will be around the 15,000 mark, actual value will vary. The next 15 cities should have a population of over 7,000.

Cities are now basically resources to be exploited by fair competition. Do not block others from trying to access passengers.
