TOPIC: Btpro 1.7.1 client version problem

on linux, downloading and compiling
openttd.btpro.nl/OpenTTD_versions/BTPro_...1_B_17102_source.zip
creates a version mismatch between the client and BTpro servers.

Patching openttd.org 1.7.1 sources with the btpro patch compiles fine and matches the server version.

You're right.

Replaced the file. It has same name and if you want to make a try, say something after ^^

Thx for noticing

works now. problem is fixed.

ty

Tried compiling the BTPro client source today and it gives a server revision mismatch error.
It was the btpro_client_D_17104_source.zip

oh crap, not again

will check what I can do.

Meanwhile, try a svn checkout with: svn checkout svn://svn.openttd.org/tags/1.7.1
Apply our diff file with: patch -p0 < file.diff

From here must all work correctly (while I check what's wrong with our source file ^^)

Hi,

I tried downloading and building today with the 1.7.2 and we seem to have the version mismatch bug again. The svn clone and diff apply works. I can help with generating a new zip file, or updating the install instructions to get the sources by svn. I think maybe that'll be more maintainable in the long run - there's not much added cost for the user to get the sources by svn and apply a patch.
