TOPIC: Ubuntu innerhighlight.grf

Hi guys,

Could be that I'm relatively inexperienced with linux in general, but I'm encountering this issue with the btpro openttd client.

Whenever I try to run the client from the ubuntu GUI it opens and directly closes again.
I added the installation location to my PATH. Now when I run 'openttd' from commandline, it returns a 'cannot find innerhighlight.grf' (it is in the right location). I suspect that the same issue applies for the situation when I run it from the GUI.
When I navigate to the executable in the commandline and execute it, the client runs without issue.

What could be the cause?

Compiled BTPro Openttd version by downloading latest 1.7.1 source from openttd.org and applying the .diff file.
Installed using .
Running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (old laptop is too slow for anything newer).

Are you sure it is "openhighlight.grf" and not "innerhighlight.grf"?

If it is the later, in the gameclient page, below the "Source files" image, there is a link where you can donwload "innerhighlight.grf". Then you copy it to ~/.openttd/baseset

It should work.

Sorry for the confusion, I did mean innerhighlight.grf and it is in the right location. Otherwise the client wouldn't run when starting from its folder from the command line.
