TOPIC: BTPro Client 1.8.0

Downloaded and installed the new client 1.8.0. Installed OS is Windows 10. Installation and operation works very well. Good job folks.

My Avast decided to send the executable for analysis that will take up to 123 minutes lol wtf this never happened before

evening all, not sure what i have done wrong... followed the usual instructions. but my Language files are messed up. OTTD is openning in the first Lang in the folder (afrikaans) delete that and it loads in Arabic, delete all those above english and it says that language files are missing. . .

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the Client, no luck.

Help?

It's really weird, but lets see if we get somewhere ^^

Because Windows is very picky with his Programs folder (default folder for installation), try this steps:
- Uninstall OpenTTD;
- Install it again on a folder outside Windows Programs folder (example: C:\Games\OpenTTD);
- Create an empty openttd.cfg file on same place the executable is (must be enabled to view file extensions - OpenTTD will fill the empty file on first run);
- Extract the files of BTPro client to there, replacing the executable and land folder;
- Open the openttd.exe file properties, Compatibility tab and enable the option to "Run this program as administrator" (bottom);
- Make the first run now;
