TOPIC: How to create this server at home?

Hi all,

I'm trying to replicate the same qualities of this server, but in a private game with my friends.

Where do I get the city builder mod, I didn't see it in the online content, also Just curious if someone could give me some help on setting this up. Do I have to set the server up as dedicated to do this?

BTW i saw the thread below and went there to start, but it doesn't give up much info other than bug info.

here is a place to start: www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=62868

and I add here Aphid's Note: it requires a nightly version of OTTD above 24573 to run.

So i'm guessing 24917 will work? What about clients? Do they have to have the nightly? Because I don't and I was able to connect to your server last night and play no problem.

well, you can try 1.3.0-beta1 (24851) - check online server -BTPro.nl- [NL] #99 - CityBuilder Aphid Test - OPEN - to see how it works... The script maker is sometimes there too
